Today is a new day

I will not be overshadowed by dismay

I will let the sun shine in

I will climb the Tree of Life

Reach for it's blossoms without doubting its roots

I will trust in fate

I will discourage hate

I will not judge; and pity those who do

I need nobody; but me

The hold his love has over me is but an addiction

I will disperse the addiction that willows through my veins

And replenish by blood with holy water

For within myself I can reach for the stars

There are no limits

There are only obstacles

Traveling down my own road; no one else

Only mine
